Moving balcony

For those of you who are always looking for the next luxury product to one-up your friends, you may be interested in the newest addition to Country Coach’s line of luxury motor coaches.

A high-end motor coach is the Rolls Royce of the RV industry. I’m sure you’ve seen those opulent homes on wheels that give a new meaning to the word “roughing it”. They have automated pull out sections that turn a semi-cramped space into a roomy and relaxing haven in the ummm… great outdoors.

But now you can add a private balcony to your list of amenities. Though I still like the awnings with your own private space outside, the idea of pushing a button and having your own veranda in about 20 seconds is pretty appealing too.

The Country Coach Veranda series has been designed to transform your living area into a luxury suite. At its core, the Veranda deck is a 4′6″ wide by 13″ deep steel platform on railings. By lowering the coach’s side wall, the space is separated from the interior by 12ft glass doors. These doors can be opened wide to expand the living space further.

As I’m reading the literature on the product I can see that the balcony deck can hold up to 3000 pounds of weight so you should be fine when you invite the local bear for a glass of wine on the balcony.

The steel deck is dual-layer and covered in vinyl so it’s easy to clean (or easier to clean because nothing about cleaning a motor coach is easy). There are also options you can add to your Veranda to customize it further. How about a LP stainless steel barbecue, or a 37″ high-definition LCD TV?

The luxury motor coach industry just reached a new level with the Country Coach Veranda. Now, if they can just find a way to get my retractable Pilates Reformer and spinning bike in there.
