Wikipedia on your iPod

Free, open source software Encyclopodia brings the vast knowledge-base of Wikipedia to your iPod.

You can install Encyclopodia from any OS, but it does require you to install it on a separate bootable partition of your iPod. Installation is quick and easy (at least it was using Windows). After installing, you can add .epodia files, which are like eBooks, to your iPod. Currently Wikipedia (in English, German, or Italian) is all that's available, but who knows - maybe in time more?

The English Wikipedia library is a little over 750 MB, so start that download now. Their site says that the Encyclopodia has been successfully tested on a 3G iPod and an iPod mini, but that it should work on other generations. For what it's worth, so far it seems to be working perfectly on my 4G iPod, which I'm very pleased about.
